“A bit of this, A Bit of That” By Tom Lolan

Tom Lolan, an audiology doctor in Kettering, has been a frequently shown artist at the Synesthesia Gallery in the Wasson Music Center at 35 Marco Lane in Centerville. His early experience in music was overshadowed by his work in photography and he has produced digital images in both color and black and white. His show at Synesthesia through Jan. 14 highlights his becoming an adjunct instructor there, and there are examples of pieces, which he has tweaked in Photoshop. Also featured at the gallery is another perennial favorite with the paintings of Sharon Stolzenberger. Students and emerging artists also being shown are photographer Ruth Ann Hermann and 2010 Yeck Fellow Charmaine Griffith from Sinclair Community College. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. -8 p.m., Monday-Thursday; 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., Friday; and 1 p.m. – 5 p.m., Sunday. Call (937) 436-5800 for more information.
