Sunride For Charity

The 3rd annual Sunride is a 20-mile bike ride through the course of the Five Rivers MetroParks bicycle paths. The bike-a-thon requires pledges but bicycles are not a requirement. Participants can ride a bike, walk or rollerblade with water and snacks provided along the route. Individuals of all ages and groups are encouraged to join. The Sunride was conceived by Club Aquarius club owner Wayne Kelley as a way to give back to the community. This year’s pledges will be split among several HIV/AIDS charities. The Sunride kicks off Saturday, September 11 at 11 a.m. at Club Aquarius, 135 E. Second St. Registration will begin at 10 a.m. The cost to register is $20 for adults and $15 for students and riders under the age of 18. Participants 16 and under must have an adult with them for the ride. Pledge forms can be picked up at Club Aquarius.
