    Dear Paul,

The Wikipedia article on “Mordecai Noah” is worth a look. I’m reading “The Sun and the Moon; the Remarkable Account of Hoaxers, Showmen, Dueling Journalists, and Lunar Man-Bats in Nineteenth-Century New York” by Matthew Goodman, in which Mordecai is a peripheral character. Matthew has been faculty at the Antioch Writers’ Workshop.

    Keep up the good work.
