As you have commented on this awful issue of "double-dipping" and taking advantage of the system to enrich one's lifestyle at the expense of others; please do include the Congressional practice of allowing congressmen enriching their lifestyle by investing in undisclosed financial information that they have made illegal to lesser Federal employees. This lets congressmen invest in private companies and receive considerable wealth, while not sharing this information with the public or the financially challenged ~ 99%. IS THIS REALLY FAIR?? : p

Excellent idea to let the good people of Ohio have their own say by being able to vote on this issue in the near future. As a retired Federal employee and due to the BRAC decision in my commuting are, I was given the option to retire early by a "buy-out" when my position went "south" to Alabama; which relocated my job so that it could be filled by more cost effective means. Though, I was offered a relocation transfer to Alabama, it was in my best interest to accept my "buy-out" at that time. Now, since then, I realize that even with the "poor" economy, I still have much to offer and may, since I believe that it will still be in my right, to seek employment in the near future ~ if we survive the pending Russian fall-out. I must agree that there are some people that do "manipulate the system" whatever is in place. And as a former Federal Government budget analyst, I have learned long ago, that "figures lie and liars figure!", (perhaps while I was in my old high school?), so it most important to remain vigilant on any taxpayer-funded program to insure against waste, fraud, and abuse. So as an old feeble retired budget analyst, I do believe that this is an excellent idea, though it is best to let the good people of Ohio have their own say by being able to vote on this issue at some future time. (BTW, old budget analyst never die, they just "lose" their balance!) ; ) a former Greenville resident
