Foxy Boxing at The Harem

By Nicole Wroten

Every Wednesday night, The Harem Gentleman’s Club holds “Foxy Boxing,” where girls from the club host a “no holds barred” boxing match for all to see. “It’s like a UFC fight in a thong,” said owner Kevin Fox. Recently, the fights have morphed into more of a “Foxy Boxing: Celebrity Death Match” edition where girls dress up in costumes and fight each other. A few fights they’ve held in the past are Batgirl vs. Wonder Woman and Po (Red Teletubby) vs. Laa-Laa (Yellow Teletubby).  Soon, they’re planning on hosting Jackie O vs. Marilyn Monroe in the ring. “A few of these girls take it quite seriously,” said Fox. “They’re all competing for a championship belt.” The Harem features drink specials all night long and admission is free if you bring in their ad featured on page 26. The Harem is located at 5825 North Dixie Dr. in Dayton. Call (937) 387-0647 for more information, or visit www.theharemdayton.com.
