Having thumbs for instance. Or eating meat. So do we need to shield the young from individuals who were not born with thumbs? Or who have chosen to become vegans or vegetarians? Hardly. Nor do we need to shield them from homosexuals. The repercussions of doing so are hardly unpredictable. For decades children have been raised in homes with gay parents. They all come out fine. C'mon Mike. As they say today, you are simply going to end up on the wrong side of history on this one. So please, join us at the big person's table.
