Kathleen,
Good point about Fifth Street Wine and Deli--they do have an excellent selection and the staff is very helpful. Due to space considerations, there were quite a few places I wanted to mention but couldn't, including (but by no means limited to) Fifth Street Wine and Deli (Downtown), Bee-Gee's (Kettering), The Market (Kettering), Centerville Carryout (Centerville), and The Little Store (Vandalia). Hope I'll have a chance to highlight more of these types of places in the future!

Think it's great that you are getting the word out there about the opportunities for craft beer enjoyment in Dayton. Sorry you did not mention Fifth Street Wine and Deli in your article as they have an outstanding selection of craft beer hand picked by the excellent and knowledgeable staff. Not to mention an opportunity for a daily tasting and during the warm summer months tastings every Saturday night on the patio. And right in the heart of the city. Can't get any better than that.

Thanks, Ron. If you head to South Park, ask them about their growler program. It's a great way to take home some of their most interesting beers.

Enjoyed the article. We have been brewing our own for about a year now and are frequent customers at Miami Valley Brew Tensils, Belmont Party Supply, MV Wine & Spirits, and Dorothy Lane. Time to start branching out with some of your other recommendations. South Park Tavern this weekend!
