The Dayton Circus Creative Collective will be holding a benefit event for the sixth edition of the annual Dayton Circus Sideshow. Sideshow 6 is a two-day multimedia event that will coincide with Dayton’s Urban Nights on May 13, a citywide celebration of local visual art and music. This Friday’s soiree is a teaser of sorts for what to expect at Sideshow 6 at the new DCCC headquarters and a chance to meet some of the artists participating at this year’s event. Just as cool is the fact that “ComeSee” will also serve as a rare dance party courtesy of “Fab Gear” DJ Jay Madewell who has been commissioned to spin classic funk, soul, rock and disco for your listening pleasure. Local art + music = WIN. The cover is $5 at the door, and all proceeds will benefit the production of this year’s Dayton Circus Sideshow. This event takes place Friday, May 6, at the Yellow Cab Building, 700 E. 4th Street in downtown Dayton (located behind Garden Station).
