I hope this performance is better than the recent work that has been done by the Dayton Ballet, and this isn't for a lack of having great dancers. I have been following the Dayton Ballet for many years now and know the dancers are more than capable of great performances. However, it seems as if things have been going downhill recently with the quality of work that is being produced. Cassanova and Eve of Frankenstein last year looked like amatuer productions. Additionally, Sleepy Hollow and Hyding Inside were equally terrible. The artists of Dayton Ballet deserve higher quality of work than this.

This article has 'piqued' (excuse the pun) my interest in the upcoming performances at the Dayton ballet and I am now looking forward to seeing "a different dialect of dance — all based in the classical ballet language". Also, I haven't come across many articles that provide such an in depth look into local dance performances, and so I was thrilled to see this one. Keep up the good work DCP!
