Welcome and introduction

W elcome. I am one of the newer freelancers in Dayton City Paper. My regular gig is Destination Yellow Springs but I also write a variety of pieces covering a range of events across the area.

I came to Dayton City Paper after a three year stint writing a weekly column for a daily paper. However, over the past 40 years I have been writing in various capacities including journalism student, volunteer, employee and freelancer.

I love writing and prefer to tell a story over filing a report. From that perspective this space will be focused on arts and cultural news and events, and especially the people behind them, in Yellow Springs, Greene County and related locations to the east. So if you see it or hear about it, pass it along.

Thanks for reading.
